What goes into writing a blog and where to start
Sharing information and resources I use to run this blog, make videos and create social media assets.

How I started blogging
I’ve been blogging since I was a teenager, my blogs ranged from writing poetry to making Sims Games. I originally started blogging as a way to keep a diary of my thoughts and experiences, but I quickly found that I enjoyed sharing my writing with others.
I loved the feeling of connecting with people from all over the world who shared my interests, and I loved being able to share resources and also learning from others..
Over the years, those blogs have been archived and have grown with me, but the core purpose remains the same: to share my thoughts, experiences, and resources with others.
So what is this current blog about? I don’t have a niche. I mainly share my experience as a Software Developer, newbie Content Creator and figuring out the journey of starting a business (in something that combines it all). The focus is:
Content Creator Lifestyle
Software Development and Entrepreneurship
Learning and Building in Public
Figuring out how to make use of my skills to become independent
Resources
Canva
Canva is a user-friendly graphic design tool that is perfect for creating professional designs for both print and digital media. They have an extensive library of templates and easy-to-use tools, I find it ideal for making beautiful graphics on the go.
WordPress
I built my website in WordPress mainly because it is an easy and accessible way to write. It might not be seen as the coolest tool as a Software Developer. I have learnt to manage my time and take the easy way out, and get to writing instead of tinkering with a custom blog. WordPress works and works well for me.
